Gastric Perforation
Gastric, or gastrointestinal perforation, occurs when a hole forms in the wall of the gastrointestinal tract. The perforation may develop in the wall of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum, or gallbladder. Symptoms may include severe abdominal pain, chills, fever, nausea and/or vomiting.
This condition is a medical emergency.
