Hypertriglyceridaemia is a condition in which a persons triglyceride levels are elevated or higher than normal. This condition is often caused by uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, obesity, and sedentary habits. Hypertriglyceridaemia is a risk factor for coronary artery disease.
