Mind: Low Self Efficacy
Self-efficacy can be defined as the belief in one's capabilities to achieve a set goal or outcome. People with low self-efficacy do not expect to do well on tasks. They are therefore more likely to avoid the task or to perform at a level that is lower than their capabilities as their doubt outweights their will to try.
