Skin Cool and Clammy

The person's skin is cool and moist. It may also be pale in appearance. Clammy skin may be a sign of a medical emergency. Seek immediate medical attention if the person has any of the following signs or symptoms: altered mental state, chest, abnominal or back pain, headache, shortness of breath, or any of the signs of shock. Signs of shock include confusion, lowered level of alertness, and weak pulse.
