Urine Contains Abnormal Protein (Proteinuria)
Proteinuria describes the presence of too much protein in the urine. Proteins are usually absorbed into the body before they pass through the urine, but may not be able to be if the glomeruli, or the kidney's filters, are damaged. The urine may look foamy if proteinuria is present.
